Once upon a time this was the Truck show, but of recent years it’s become the Van show, and what we may start to call the Van show has become dominated by the electric solution to panel van delivery final mile vehicles.
The biggest domination of CV 2025 was birthdays, CV show was 25, Ford Transit celebrated 60 and Highways England Tramline truck project was birthday decade at ten years old.

IOC fellows’ day focused on the Tuesday for a network and natter before taking in Electric Avenue and Electric van launches that were thick and fast from Farizon. Flexis and Kia, all likely to be seen in delivery fleets as delivery slots come up to place these vehicles in the final mile world of clean air.

Flexis on stand 5D90 IOC members were amongst the first in the UK to experience the Step-In Van & learn more about Flexis' SDV technology with Renault baking. Available halfway in to 2026. Set to revolutionise the urban logistics landscape in what they call a skateboard platform for all sizes of fleets.
Very next generation, IOC met ELM Mobility CEO Dr Iain Roche who introduced an L Cat 7 four-wheel single seat electric that could take a euro pallet, in prototype for 2028 delivery with 200 miles and dedicated to parcel delivery.
