Defining groups of logistics Service Providers LSPs for final mile, last mile express courier to door.

Institute of Couriers (IoC) has drafted a map of the UK Logistics Service provider (LSP) resource groups for final mile, last mile delivery to door.

The map outlines clarity of those networks able to trunk internally, (in the upper triangle) and those networks who outsource their trunking (in the lower triangle). Company names listed are as example and do not provide a definitive list.

During the 2020 Covid-19 crisis the Institute of Couriers facilitated communications to match owner-operators to national players. A demonstration of the IOC reach is shown in the diagram below.
