Dave Snelling opened, ‘The new Govt takes road safety very seriously. They are set to publish the first road safety strategy in ten years.’

Vickey Harvey, ‘A step by step guide to road safety intervention.’ ‘Thank you to all of the group who have been able to assist.’ ‘The group was launched in Nov 2022 to recognise intervention.’ National Highways have been a great supported alongside DVSA and devolved authorities.

Anne-Marie Penny, National Highways, ‘Building a toolkit on work related road risk from Highways England.

Chris Floyd stepped into the group to explain road safety in final mile. ‘At Evri we have approx thirty thousand self-employed couriers delivering final mile, the self-employed drivers work under their own control. At Evri we set up a star rating, customers asked to rate their driver. There are further seven KPIs, of which five are behavioural, two are operational.’ Chris explained financial value match to delivery performance and spoke about the hundred parcel model. Chris explained, ‘Changing the behaviour to raise behaviour on safe driving and parking allocates better individual delivery payment for best star rating.’ ‘Our consumers are rating on Trust Pilot good practice.’
