IOC Heads of Industry round table saw the announcement for the launch of a new road safety sub group. Chris Floyd from Evri has taken the role as chair and champion of the group. At round table he passionately asked for fellows to put forward names for the new group. There is a first sitting on Monday March 9th, HSE, DFT DVSA are amongst the guest speakers lining up for the year ahead bi-monthly meetings. Making early engagement as inclusive as possible the new group will meet virtually for an hour every two months. You don’t have to be a fellow to attend, fellows may put forward a member of their team to sit in on the new IOC group.

Chris explains, ‘Road Safety is always a fixed goal but by making it a prominent one we loudly state our intent, as a business and as an industry, to think beyond ourselves and actively seek to improve our shared environment. As I said at The IOC round table "Road Safety is the same moral obligation as ESG, CSR and DE&I. As an industry we can no longer accept a mindset of 'accidents happen'." Please put forward your safety champion to join the new virtual group, email their name to IOC Dr Tracey Worth on This email address is being protected from spambots.
