DfT rolling year, July 2018 to June 2019 showed 1.827 killed in road accidents, for the rolling year July 19 to June 2020 the number fell 14% to 1,580.
Looking at the number for all casualties, July 2018 to June 2019 was 156,034, in the rolling year July 2018 to June 2020 the number fell 16% to 131,220.
TfL urge London freight operators to apply for a Direct Vision Standard safety permit as soon as possible.

From 1 March, TfL’s lorry safety scheme will operate 24 hours a day, seven days a week and will be enforced on all roads in the capital.
The operators of many thousands of HGVs on London’s roads have not yet applied for a required free safety permit.
Freight operators are reminded that a tighter Low Emission Zone standard will also be enforced from the same date.

-Matt Hancock - Secretary of State for Health and Social Care
to request consideration for home delivery, express couriers to be given a high priority vaccination status.
