Logistics at head of agenda for Liverpool North West awards.

Culina took the win for warehouse, TfGM received award for transport planning, student of the year went to James Norton. Gala event, lights camera action for a showcase of best practice in logistics.

Liverpool City LEP director Mark Basnett, 'Transport is at the heart of our strategy, we are a global logistics hub, we are in a cluster of people, 17 million people within 2 hours. CILT CEO Kevin Richardson delivered a keynote speech, ‘Student to retiree, how do we describe our profession? This is a community of professionals.’

Exploding numbers in express final mile were showcased by local firm Swift Despatch. Vince Friery and his team were on the Titanic stairs to celebrate shortlisting in the development of people award. Vince with Debbie Charlton and Zoe Eaton, holding the glass, certificates in hand to recognise the fact that it is people that make the difference to delivery.

Simon Reynish took the Meritus final award as lights danced across the stage to music by ‘Under the covers’ . Logisticians joined forces and delivered a Liverpool night to remember.
