The keynote headline discussion points for the new IOC Road Safety & Wellbeing group
There is a myriad of road safety material, free and charged.
We are all on the same page with the same challenges. We need co-ordination to focus on the most appropriate literature.
There is great variation between heavy vehicle and lighter van regulations.
We need reality discussions on road traffic incidents.
It is more than just compliance. There is a shift to road safety and doing the right thing.
Road safety is both moral and legal.
Retaining drivers after an incident is a challenge.
Issues of re-training drivers after an incident is also a challenge.
