Heart of road safety week. Road Safety GB hosted over 300 delegates from business, public and charity sectors in the first post-Covid at-table event.

Inst of Couriers fellow, Chris Floyd, Evri’s Transport Safety & Compliance Lead spoke to the National Road Safety Conference in Harrogate on final mile with a keynote focused on ‘Better relationships with other road users.’

As part of the topics discussed Chris spoke about the new Road Safety Policy Evri have developed and how they are taking steps on a journey towards better relationships with other Road Users.

We do all we can to offer consumers a superb doorstep experience, we should always acknowledge that those receiving parcels and those we meet on the Road are frequently the same consumers. We should take as much care and target positive engagement with our Road User experience as we do with our doorstep experience.

Other events at the Conference covered topics such as Road Safety Research, Influencing Behaviour, The Future of Road Safety, Technology, Vision Zero and a final Question Time style event.
