Another big year count for the last days of the Christmas jumpers - the APC network presented 19 staff from its Cannock depot with awards for their long service and dedication to the company.

The employees – who encompass a variety of roles – have a combined total of 240 years at the 25 year-old company, with awards being presented for 10, 15 or 20 years’ service.

New Environment Bill in Queen’s speech - Manchester calls for government clarity on Clean Air funding...

Following the announcement of a new Environment Bill in the Queen’s speech, Greater Manchester authorities today made renewed calls on government to commit funding to the region’s ambitious Clean Air Plan proposals.

While the speech set out that the bill would increase local powers to address air pollution, nine months after Greater Manchester submitted its Clean Air Plan outline business case to government, leaders are still waiting for clarification on two key issues.

Whistl has undertaken research with a representative sample of 1000 UK consumers to establish the key points online retailers should consider when launching subscription services.

Fifteen hundred quid for electric two-wheel scooters brand new.

The new term on the block is PLVs - Powered Light vehicles.  'L zero' L category are the solution to last mile delivery.

The Prime Minister Boris Johnson took a Friday look at final mile this week with a visit to DPD UK in Middleton, Greater Manchester.

The PM met IOC fellow, DPD boss, Dwain McDonald and discussed DPD plans for an all-electric fleet of vehicles, new infrastructure investment and job creation.
