Volta Trucks and DPD bring full-electric large commercial vehicle parcel deliveries to London's Ultra Low Emission Zone

DPD is to commence trials of the Volta Zero, the world's first purpose-built full-electric 16-tonne delivery vehicle, in Q1-2021.

The Volta Zero will be tested by DPD within London's Ultra Low Emission Zone in Q1-2021, supporting their micro-depot strategy.

Mott MacDonald has appointed Mike Brown MVO as an independent member of its shareholders’ committee.

Express final mile is getting greener by the day. This week DPD announces a million parcels a month now delivered by their electric EVs. Over 10% of DPD's UK van fleet is now electric.

IOC fellow, Dwain McDonald, DPD's CEO commented, "Despite everything that is going on, we've been really focused on getting EVs on the road and delivering for us this year.
