As monthly data from jobs site Adzuna this week (Feb 23) highlights that the number of job vacancies across the UK has plummeted to a five-year low, with drops particularly in logistics Logistics is a term used for every stream of moving goods, numbers in Express logistics, final mile, laast mile, e-retail look sound. As hiring falls in the logistics sector, Evri Group bucks the trend with thousands of new roles to drive service quality and continued growth 

23rd February 2026: Evri Group is announcing plans to create over 3700 new opportunities with a particular focus in operations on courier roles at the heart of local communities to drive up delivery quality.

The announcement follows operational investment of £36 million last year as the business bolstered its operations and service to support parcel volume growth.

This latest investment builds on Evri’s commitment to delivering industry leading service, with close to 4 million 5* Trustpilot reviews and an average courier star rating of 4.7/5, while underpinning its rapid growth following its merger with DHL eCommerce UK. In the last week alone independent data from Parcel2Go found that for UK deliveries, Evri Drop-Off recorded the highest on-time delivery rate in 2025 of all carriers. The same report also ranked Evri Drop-Off as having one of the highest rankings (top 3) for customer satisfaction for International deliveries at 4.54 out of 5. 

Evri’s focus on bringing in 3700 new workers including community couriers supports its commitment to further driving service quality as data highlights higher customer satisfaction rates towards couriers that deliver regular rounds and know their communities well.

For couriers themselves, the business offers them the opportunity to drive their own earnings, benefit from the flexibility of being self-employed all whilst earning significantly more than national minimum wage with average rates of £20 per hour for established couriers. Regular round holders also have the opportunity to convert to be a GMB union backed Evri Plus courier which opens up access to holiday pay (28 days annually), pension contributions, dedicated delivery round(s) and guaranteed minimum earnings.

In addition to courier positions, Evri Group is also hiring for self-employed driver roles across the UK with opportunities to earn as much as £1200 a week for experienced drivers, as well as a range of opportunities at all levels within its warehouse and head office functions.
