3 billion worth of small parcels sent to UK from China.

£3bn worth of small parcels were sent to the UK from China in 2024, representing 51% of all the small parcels shipped to the UK from around the world in the last year. Whistl, is the UK’s largest broker in the Cross Border mail and parcel market.

Whistl the UK’s logistics specialists in fulfilment, mail and parcels, hosted a delegation of 40 business owners from China at its Bedford Super Depot to discuss the opportunities for cross border trade between China and the UK. The delegation is part of the Cheung Kong Graduate School of Business which is facilitating the visit to UK businesses with trading links with China.

Laurie Oakley, International New Business Sales Director, hosted the group alongside colleagues from Hube.com and Diligence and discussed how they work with Chinese companies on cross border e-commerce fulfilment and parcel delivery.
