Reduced emissions, quiet operations, lower operating costs.

Priority Express, focused in Bristol Bath & Cardiff and on the APC network explain the "final mile" – Its the last leg of delivery from a depot to the final destination is often the most challenging and critical part of the supply chain. Recognising the importance of this stage, Priority Express were proud of their decision, more than three years ago, to introduce electric Sprinter vans as part of their Priority Zero project.

With increasing urban congestion, heightened consumer expectations for faster delivery times, and the environmental impact of traditional delivery vehicles, logistics companies face significant hurdles. At Priority Express, we are committed to leading the way in sustainable logistics and as our initial batch of eSprinters near the end of their service life, we're preparing to re-invest and add even more EV's to our fleet. Benefits include:- Zero Emissions: Electric sprinter vans produce no tailpipe emissions, significantly reducing the carbon footprint of our delivery operations. Cost Efficiency: Electric vehicles (EVs) have lower operating costs compared to traditional combustion engine vehicles. With fewer moving parts, they require less maintenance and benefit from lower fuel costs, enabling us to offer competitive pricing without compromising on service quality. Reduced Noise Pollution: Electric sprinter vans operate much more quietly than their diesel counterparts. This is particularly advantageous for deliveries in residential areas during early mornings or late evenings, minimizing noise disturbances and contributing to a more pleasant urban environment.

‘Our transition to electric vans is just one part of the Priority Express strategy to revolutionize final mile logistics. We are constantly exploring innovative ways to enhance our delivery services, from leveraging data analytics for better route planning to integrating artificial intelligence for improved demand forecasting. Together, let's pave the way for a greener, smarter, and more efficient future in delivery.’
