Last Friday, Topspeed couriers officially received The King’s Award for Enterprise: Sustainable Development at their Winsford Operations Hub.
Stephen Clegg - "We were delighted to welcome Lady Redmond MBE, Lord-Lieutenant of Cheshire, who formally presented the King’s Award plaque and read the official scroll from His Majesty King Charles III."
But while receiving the award is a significant milestone for Topspeed, Stephen Clegg, Founder and CEO, was keen to emphasise that this is not the achievement of one person or one department.
"It is a collective achievement involving every member of the Topspeed team.
Our ongoing investment in electric vehicles, reducing emissions and finding practical ways to make our operations more sustainable has been a long-term commitment, and one that involves people across the business, including our drivers out on the road every day.
The King’s Award recognises the progress we have made, but it also recognises the people who have helped make that progress happen.
So this is your award too. A huge congratulations and thank you to everyone at Topspeed for playing your part. And now, we continue the journey."
