Royal Mail unveiled our 1,000th red parcel locker, marking a milestone in our ambition to give their customers as many options as possible for collecting, sending and returning parcels.
The 1,000th red locker is now live outside the Sainsbury's store in Weymouth. The 1,000 red lockers bring the total number of lockers available to our customers to 3,000, as they can also use 2,000 Parcel Pending by Quadient lockers across the UK.
Royal unveiled their first locker in the network in December 2024, outside the historic Mount Pleasant Mail Centre in London. Since then, they have announced partnerships that have seen our lockers rolled out at:
- NewRiver REIT shopping centres and retail parks;
- Sainsbury's stores;
- Co-op stores;
- Motor Fuel Group petrol stations;
- UPP student accommodation; and
- Post Office Ltd branches (on a trial basis).
The lockers feature label printing, making the process convenient for customers who do not have access to a printer. To use the lockers, customers can simply download a QR code for a return or for postage paid for online.
