Evri and Parcel2Go Extend Long-standing Partnership with New Drop-Off Service.

Evri has announced this week, (20th Feb) a further extension to its partnership with shipping platform Parcel2Go, marking the next chapter in their long-standing collaboration.

This renewed agreement, spanning over fifteen years, aims to build on the strategic relationship already established by both brands, as they jointly explore further growth opportunities.

Throughout the partnership, Evri and Parcel2Go, the UK’s largest and most trusted parcel delivery comparison and technology platform, have worked closely to provide both consumers and businesses access to affordable and reliable delivery services, while this new chapter will see both brands expand on their shared ambition to drive future growth through enhanced services and innovation.

Coinciding with this, and expanding on their existing drop-off offering, is the launch of Parcel2Go’s brand-new Shop2Shop and locker service for Evri, which, for the first time, enables consumers and businesses accessing Evri’s services through the platform to have their parcels delivered to their nearest ParcelShop or locker.

This means that, alongside Evri’s existing courier collection service on offer through the shipping platform, consumers and businesses can now enjoy even more choice when it comes to delivery methods.

With a current network of over 11,000 ParcelShop and locker locations, this launch follows a previous announcement by Evri of its plans to double this number by 2030, which forms part of a £50m investment by the parcel delivery company.

And in addition, with a joint commitment to exploring international opportunities, key growth markets, including the Republic of Ireland and the USA, will form the basis for the next stages of this strategic partnership.

Claire Phelan, Head of E-Commerce Partnerships at Evri, said: “We’re thrilled to extend our partnership with Parcel2Go, which has seen us collaborating for more than fifteen years, and reflects both the strength of what we’ve built together and our shared confidence in what lies ahead. “During that time, we’ve worked together to ensure greater choice, value and reliability for both consumers and businesses, and with the launch of Parcel2Go’s new drop-off service, as well as a joint focus on innovation and international growth, this next chapter will continue to build on this, as we explore significant growth opportunities to deliver even more for consumers in the UK and beyond.”

Ashley Taylor, Director of Commercial at Parcel2Go, said: “Evri has been a long-standing and valued partner for Parcel2Go, and we’re pleased to be continuing our work together as the partnership evolves. “Providing consumers and businesses with greater choice and flexibility in delivery has always been a priority for us. The addition of our new shop-to-shop service builds on that focus, and we’re looking forward to continuing to work closely with Evri as we develop the partnership and explore future opportunities in the UK and beyond.”
