Lillian Greenwood has left the department of Transport (Mon 8th Sept) to join the Whip’s Office and Mike Kane has left the department too.

Incoming minister to the DfT is Keir Mather MP who’s come in from the Whip’s Office.

Born 1998 (age 27) in Kingston upon Hull. MP for Selby, formerly Selby and Ainsty, since 2023. He has served as an Assistant Government Whip since July 2024.

He went to the University of Oxford, graduating with a first in History and Politics at Wadham College, before receiving a Master of Public Policy (MPP) degree at University College London.

One more Minister remains to be appointed and then DfT will await for confirmation of portfolios.
