Intangles provide world-leading predictive maintenance forecasts for vehicles using AI and digital twin technology – saving fleets time, cost, and carbon. Intangles are able to predict powertrain faults with unparalleled accuracy (96%) – sometimes days or even weeks before a DTC is triggered. They have had huge success in the US and India with fleets seeing a reduction in breakdown rates of up to 75%, reduction in fuel use and workshop costs, and an increase in uptime of up to 30%. Intangles provide operators with real-time information (and alerts) about their vehicles. The system also tracks DTCs if they do occur, and can conduct root cause analysis of any failures so that time in the workshop is minimised – the spares can be waiting for the vehicle when it rolls through the door. The system also tracks driver behaviour and geo-location, but as Tom explained, Intangles include those for free so that their customers don’t have to buy them elsewhere.

The system won Gold at the EuroBus Innovation Awards in November 2024 as the development likely to have the largest impact on the industry in 2025. They have nearly 300,000 vehicles operating worldwide, with nearly 3,000 platform fits, and they are growing and innovating all the time.
