Samuel Milne, Group Operations Manager at Eagle Couriers, this week marks Eagle Couriers' 40 year anniversary in business. It was time for cake and the cake was a very cool red Eagle final mile van.
Inst of Couriers fellow, Fiona Deas, Managing Director at Eagle Couriers, ‘Very proud of the whole team and you have been a major part of the journey, Samuel. You will take company forward in years to come, I have no doubt.’
Samuel comments, ‘It has been a real pleasure to see the company grow and develop over the last nine years and I am excited to see what the next four decades will bring to Scotland's leading independent courier.
A day to reflect on all the blood, sweat and tears that have went into Eagle and to thank the staff, past and present, who have made it what it is today.
On a personal note, would like to thank my “adoptive mother/boss/business partner/best pal" Fiona Deas for taking a chance on a "wee weegie gnaff" like myself almost 10 years ago now, and for giving me so much more than just a stable job and opportunity to learn and grow. If I can be even a quarter of the business person that you are in the future, I think that would be a job well done. I am very proud to be on this journey with you and share in the highs and lows of our wee corner of the market.
