Zoe Walsh at GLH explains, ‘Our patient transport services are chosen by NHS trusts and the private healthcare sector due to our exemplary levels of care thanks to our Driver Care Assist training which goes above and beyond industry standard.’

The industry standard covers areas such as Scope of Practice, Duty of Care and Patient Confidentiality, Information Governance, Mental Capacity and Consent, Incident Reporting, Equality and Diversity, Safeguarding – Level 2, Infection Prevention and Control, Communication and Interaction, Dementia Awareness, Fire Safety, Safer Patient Assistance, Emergency First Aid at Work. We believe the level of care patients receive must extend to their journeys – which often take place when they are feeling at their most vulnerable. So, for some years now we have been aligning our care with CQC (Care Quality Commission) standards and are pleased to announce that we are now officially CQC registered.

Key lines of enquiry (KLOEs) are a framework used by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) to assess the quality of adult social care services. KLOEs help inspectors determine that we are meeting five key standards:

Safe: Whether people are protected from abuse and avoidable harm
Effective: Whether the service is effective
Caring: Whether the service involves and treats people with compassion, kindness, dignity, and respect
Responsive: Whether the service meets people’s needs
Well-led: Whether the service has leadership, management, and governance that ensures high-quality care

Our mission is to provide exceptional non-emergency patient transport services with a commitment to safety, comfort, and reliability. We are dedicated to ensuring that every individual experiences a dignified and stress-free journey to their destination. Our unwavering focus on professionalism, compassion, and adherence to the highest industry standards aims to make a positive impact on the overall healthcare journey. Through personalised care, continuous innovation, and a dedicated team, we strive to be the trusted partner in non-emergency patient transport, fostering a sense of security and well-being for those we serve.

We have recently expanded our fleet of private ambulances and one of our biggest achievements so far has been our bespoke NHS booking system which has streamlined the patient transport booking experience, achieving a 50% time-saving for the hospitals that work with us.

But by far our proudest achievements are the touching testimonials we receive from the patients we have had the privilege of driving.
