Logistics were out in force with an IOC group table, guests of the shadow Skills Minister Seema Malhotra in Heston at the Hounslow Promise dinner in West London.

Shop talk was apprenticeships, with West Thames College Principal Tracy Aust speaking delivery driver and sortation fulfilment apprentices using on-the-ob learning with workbooks for driver and sortation teams.

Middle England hot spot for logistics was represented by Univ of Derby and Gurpreet Dehal. UWL Janet Rowson spoke L6 Univ West London degree apprentices in Express manager - the fully levy-paid level six hons degree for next generation express managers.

Former IOC education chair Justin Moore, Onit Logistics was at the table to reflect on the term Express in the lens of apprenticeship delivery.

Simi Punn from TVS Rico was local, as was Ed Clarke from Skynet Logistics at Heathrow.
