Since being recognised as a certified carbon neutral business 18 months ahead of schedule, we have taken action to further reduce our carbon footprint to do our part to reduce the environmental impact of logistics operations.
Wrapped in our iconic blue swoosh, the newly acquired electric vans will add to our expanding green fleet to offer customers a range of sustainable delivery options.
E-vans prove extremely effective for courier work due to the high number of stops involved on short, urban routes, while possessing the required space to carry multiple items on board.
With Ultra-Low Emission Zones becoming common in the UK’s cities, electric vehicles are proving more and more popular, given the cost saving as well as the reduction in pollution.
The Maxus e-vans only require 45 minutes of charging to reach 80% battery and produce an impressive range of up to 213 miles/344kms on a full battery.
The vans are fully operational in a number of our site including London, Leeds and Manchester, where they carry out local pickups and collections for our regular customers as well as ad hoc bookings. They also support with the management of medical deliveries which is vital in our aid to the NHS across the country.
