Mark Griffiths was installed to the new Master of the Worshipful Company of Carmen on Oct 20th 2015, The Carmen are in their 499th year. Mark took the reins from Lt. Colonel Paul Holder RLC. Blessed in the City of London. The first job of a new elect Carmen Master is to hire a cart and he did this in Dunster Court, City of London where he hired a 1933 Fiat box van for work in the City of London. The Livery of Carmen then celebrated the new election at a gala lunch in Clothworkers Hall, Mincing Lane, City of London. Marsha Rae Ratcliffe took the senior warden's role and is standing for master in the 500th year 2016/17.
