DX, the delivery solutions provider, has today announced the addition of over 300 new vehicles to its delivery fleet, taking the total to over 900 vehicles. The new vehicles will serve both of the Group’s divisions, DX Freight and DX Express, and are being rolled out across its nationwide network. The vehicles include over 150 vans, including 65 bespoke vehicles for carrying irregular dimension and weight freight, 50 trailers, 50 tractor units and over 120 trucks, with vehicles liveried in DX branding. This investment marks the latest step in DX’s extensive expenditure programme to support future growth and the ongoing expansion of its network, with six new depots having already been opened over the course of this year and the last.
The new vehicles will serve both of the Group’s divisions, DX Freight and DX Express, and are being rolled out across the Group’s nationwide network. They will increase the capacity and operational effectiveness of both divisions, supporting the Group’s ongoing expansion.
The investment marks the latest step in DX’s extensive expenditure programme to support future growth and the ongoing expansion of its network. Investment is focused on sites, technology and equipment. DX has already opened six new depots over the course of last year and this year, with further openings scheduled over the coming months. Additional investment in Group infrastructure is planned in both divisions.
DX sees significant growth opportunities for both DX Freight and DX Express, and expects to increase market share through its concentrated focus on setting market-leading customer service standards.
