GLH boss Rob Scott, second generation IOC fellow took the stage to talk what makes a family in final mile.
It’s a time of great change in our sector. We must hold still and keep moving. GLH 12 months, moved offices and re-branded, there have been ups and downs this year but we are alive and kicking. GLH are at the heart of a new computer system with apps at the core, we must embrace the future but its always people that come first. GLH embrace our drivers and riders one hundred per cent, GLH is a family and we are a family in a new age.
Rob Scott spoke passionately at what has become one the must-attend company events in the last mile sector. The long-standing North London firm created by John Scott (deceased IOC fellow) opened their celebrations with an address to the Haggis. The gala ceremony went on beyond family in final mile to recognise individual excellence across all we do in the business. Robert Young bagged the new employee award, Peter Palfrey won rider of the year and top van driver went to ‘The Hoss’ David Hosler. Louise Murray took manager win and best department went to customer services who celebrated success in the front line of the client engagement.
John Scott memorial trophy went to Peter Ross, thirty five years of family in the same day sector! GLH 2018 Staff award winner went to Thomas Szeja.
