Association of education and learning providers, AELP were in the hot spot of East Midlands for logistics, hosted by Matthew Watson Scania at their national truck training centre Loughborough for the specialist sector group responsible for logistics. Chair James Billingham had a host of speakers from LEP to employers. Sue Tilley spoke for LLEP & the midlands engine, Matt Agnew for Scania, this is the largest Scania training centre in the World. Sarah Bell for Univ of Derby spoke about apprenticeship degrees a step to management in the logistics with clear sector focus.
