Bob Black has held the position of Divisional Managing Director of TNT Express Specialist Services (TESS) for the past six years. He has full profit responsibility for the five operating divisions TNT Sameday, TNT Managed Services, TNT Financial Services, TNT Archive Services and TNT Document Services.

Bob joined TNT in 1983 as a Loading Bank Operative in Lancashire. He was appointed Depot General Manager at TNT Hornsey in 1990 before moving onto the Byfleet Dept in 1992. In 1996 he took the role of Divisional General Manager of TNT Mail Services and was instrumental in generating a £20 million annual revenue and leading 200-strong team across the United Kingdom.

He now runs TESS, complete with well over 1,000 employees and an annual revenue of £170 million
