DPD UK confirms appointment of Justin Pegg as new CEO as former CEO Elaine Kerr becomes Chairwoman.

DPD has confirmed the appointment of Justin Pegg as CEO of DPD UK, ( 2nd Feb) with former CEO Elaine Kerr becoming Chairwoman.

As Chairwoman, Elaine will continue to help guide and shape DPD UK’s overall strategic direction, working closely with the UK’s Exec Board.

Currently COO, Justin Pegg has over 35 years of service at DPD and has been a member of the Senior Leadership Team since 2016 and an Executive Director since 2020. In his new role Justin will be CEO of DPD UK, and Head of cluster UK/Ireland. The new organisation will be effective from Monday 2 February 2026.

The company operates more than 10,000 vehicles in the UK from 85 locations and delivers over 360 million parcels a year.

DPD UK topped the Money Saving Expert parcel delivery customer satisfaction poll for the ninth time in 2024.

In November 2023, DPD opened London Docklands to provide a predominantly electric delivery van service within the North and South circular. Currently, 38% of DPD’s total van fleet is electric, while the 1,600 strong HGV fleet is predominantly fuelled by HVO (Hydrogenated Vegetable Oil). The company is on track to be Net Zero by 2040.
