In the mix for a National Courier Award hero nomination, delivery took an unexpected turn for Postie Ollie when he spotted a two year old girl walking alone towards a busy road. Ollie immediately realised something wasn’t right. Without hesitation, he ran towards the child and reached her just in time, gently guiding her out of danger. Ollie stayed with the girl and called the police, keeping her safe while help arrived. Thanks to his knowledge of the local area, officers were quickly able to find her home, and she was safely reunited with her family.
