City of London centre stage for transport

500 years of transport in the City of London for Carmen celebration.

Secretary of State for Transport joined top brass in express logistics in the City of London on March 14th for the Carmen Transport banquet - a celebration of 500 years of the Carmen and transport at the heart of London.

Senior fellows of the IOC, including Justin Moore - 2017 services to industry hood and British Forces Post Office boss Lt Col Brett Duxbury join Whistl, Hermes, Diamond, TNT, DX and more to listen to the keynote address by Secretary of State for Transport Chris Grayling.

 

 

Express discussion focused around the new trailblazer qualifications for levy arriving in April. LoCity and alternative fuels were in the discussion, clean air final mile solutions for the next generation. The Transport Banquet was hosted by the Lord Mayor of the City of London. City of London chairman of the Inst of Directors, David Stringer-Lamarre was with the IOC fellows to talk about the evolving express platform of e-retail and welcome fellows to the IOD for the National Courier Awards, Set your diary for Oct 17th
