City Couriers Direct, (CCD) Chesterfield, final mile partners for Evri, are on a cycle mission to deliver research hours for Brain Tumour Research in 2023 with a tour of football via the UK Premier league stadiums.

IOC CEO, Dr Tracey Worth teamed up with Darryl Claypole to get all the news. IOC fellow, Darryl has a goal, his cycle training will match one of the local van routes, Chesterfield to Sheffield final mile route by Steve is 121 miles a day, that’s what Darryl has set as his cycle training target to raise research days for Brain Tumour charity in premier league event called Tour de Football.

Darryl is a former professional footballer with honours at Swindon. His passion for goals remains with him. The UK charity cycle tour of Premier League stadiums is called Tour de Football. The event in May will be visiting every Premier League football club in the UK.

Starting in Newcastle and cycling to the South Coast for Bournemouth, taking in all the Middle England clubs, returning London for Arsenal, Chelsea and Fulham before finishing at Wembley.

CCD HQ is in Chesterfield, so highlight of the local Premier visit will be Nottingham Forest, just 28 miles from depot. Darryl is travelling in comfort, steady on a soft seat multi-gear blue mountain bike to cover miles at a sensible pace make a certain final mile finish for the big trip that is expected to tally up almost a thousand miles.

Darryl Claypole is asking for support from the industry to help reach the target of £500,000 for this event. Nottingham Forest is the local club to Chesterfield and the shortest leg for final mile CCD at 28 miles.

Darryl explains,

Anyone can get involved, we are seeking engagement for this event UK wide to participate virtually from the office or home or on the ride itself to visit their local Premier League Club. We want regional couriers to cycle their local leg to their local premier team ground.’ ‘Its about delivering research hours.’ ‘Two thousand seven hundred and fifty pounds funds a day's research and brings us a day closer to the cure for brain tumours.
