Key note speakers on tracking data alongside local transport firm Taylors brought an energetic discussion on logistics. The local company, had taken a European approach to the driver workforce with Polish drivers and their own driver training centre. Lindsay Allen spoke for D2N2 and the LEP strategy plan. Ian Bates, Chamber D2N2,  ‘There is funding and its coming, we are getting the working group active ready to match projects to European funding.’

5 million pounds proposal to Dft today.

Andrew Pritchard talked about the roll out of Midlands Connect, 5 million pounds of Dft funding and a key launch on Oct 22nd at the Derby Roundhouse.
