Triple Top-Brass appointments for Feb 2018 - Fedex, CEVA & OCADO

Bert Nappier is the new president of FedEx Europe, CEVA appoints Eddie Aston as their new UK managing director and Luke Jensen becomes an executive director at OCADO.

Bert Nappier as president of FedEx Europe and chief executive of TNT.

In addition to leading the international finance organisation, he serves as co-chair of the FedEx Integration Leadership Council, where he played a key role leading the FedEx TNT integration efforts around the world.

Bert Nappier started his career at Arthur Andersen after graduating from the University of Mississippi. He rose to director of finance for Wright Medical Technology before joining Fedex in 2005. Currently senior vice president of finance – international, he has served in a variety of corporate global leadership roles. Helena Jansson will succeed Nappier as FedEx Express senior vice president of finance – international.

 

CEVA appoints Eddie Aston new UK managing director

CEVA Logistics names Eddie Aston new managing director, UK, Ireland and Nordics, to take over from Michael O’Donoghue who has been promoted to head of CEVA’s North America cluster. Aston joins CEVA from Northgate, van hire and leasing organisation where he was UK Managing Director. Aston will be based from the UKIN cluster’s head office at Ashby-de-la-Zouch in the East Midlands,

Driving growth further is my key priority, and having been away from logistics for a few years I have watched the progress that CEVA has already made and it was top of the list of places I wanted to work

Board role for Luke Jensen at OCADO

Ocado makes 1st Feb promotion of Luke Jensen, only one year with Ocado. Luke is the current boss of its Ocado Solutions technology business, to the board as an executive director in a move that reflects the growing importance of selling the Ocado system to other retailers. The former Sainsburys director has overseen the securing of three international partnership deals for Ocado including Sobeys in Canada and Casino in France. Jensen also manages Ocado’s relationship with existing Ocado Solutions client, Morrisons.

Luke Jensen:
