A Table full of support as industry turns out for a new courier qualification.


Friday Feb 12 is the deadline for the submission of the standards to BIS for the all new courier trailblazer apprentice qualification, courier companies turned out in first days of February to show the greatest  support the industry has ever seen.

Heads of the courier industry turned out in force, they were around the table to show their support for the new trailblazer apprenticeship for courier. A route for workforce to join a sector in need. If BIS give it the green light we could have the next generation of couriers in training by summer.

RLC Southall presentation 13 years service to Private Freshwater Royal Logistics Corps.  IOC Chairman Carl Lomas was at the London showcase day for reserve Royal Logistics Corps 562 Squadron and learned about a licence route for heavy vehicles that gives a step from warehouse to wheels.

Greater Manchester (TfGM) launch TRANSPORT STRATEGY 2040 today

Head of Logistics for TfGM Helen Smith was delighted to discuss strategy of cities with Patrick Gallagher CEO of CitySprint and Professor Tony Hines of Manchester Metropolitian University; when visiting Cartmarking with the IoC at Guildhall yard London. Helen recently announced the Transport strategy of 2040 for Greater Manchester called Our Vision.

'It sets out a vision for the transport newtwork that we believe Greater manchester needs by 2040 to deliver World Class connections that support long-term sustainable economic growth and access to opportuniities for all'. Greater Manchester want to hear your views now, through a twelve week consultation this summer before the first of the five year plans are prepared in 2016.
